Our Holiday Cottages

Two beautifully converted self catering cottages on a working family farm in a fabulous part of Wiltshire, 6 miles from Marlborough. The Stables at Manor Farm sleeps 6 and The Hen House sleeps 4 and all rooms in both cottages have their own en suite bathroom.

Both cottages are situated between the farm house and farm yard on our working family farm and overlook fields (with cows in for most of the year), trees and barns. They are both light and warm and catch the sun at the front – an ideal spot for sitting out.

Furnished with high quality beds, mattresses and bed linen to ensure a good night’s sleep and all bed linen and towels are included in the price of your stay. Central heating and really good insulation make the cottages warm and cosy during cooler months. There's always plenty of hot water and that the power showers work well no matter how many people are using them.

On arrival  there will be some tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits waiting for you as well as some toiletries in the bathrooms. We also supply some washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towels, kitchen roll and loo rolls and there will be fresh eggs from our hens for you to purchase during your stay.

Just a very short walk away there is the large village green, surrounded by thatched cottages and dotted with mature lime trees this area is ideal for picnics and ball games.  The village playing field has goal posts, a balance trail and a small skate ramp and provides a tranquil setting to play in the middle of this picturesque village. From the top of the green there is a track which leads to open countryside and is perfect for walking and cycling. Head down the small lane in the other direction and you will soon reach the Kennet and Avon Canal and famous Beam Engines at Crofton (with cafe in summer) and Wilton Windmill.

The nearest pub (The Swan at Wilton) is a mile away (easy walk down a quiet lane) with a lovely beer garden and take away menu.
